王連晟

數位藝術創作者,作品跨足於互動裝置和聲音表演。裝置常以量的方式以達到特異的身體感知。而聲音表演的圖像皆以程式即時生成圖形搭配聲音演出。近年來致力於程式演算影像與聲音的契合。多次於失聲祭、超響、數位藝術節演出,2013年赴奧地利林茲電子藝術中心演出,2016年入圍比利時Update雙年展新科技藝術獎,表演於西班牙馬德里現代數位科技影音藝術節(MADATAC),2015年邀請駐村於法國里昂國立音樂創作中心(GRAME),並發表互動裝置「平行城市」。作品曾於國立故宮博物院、台北美術館、國立台灣美術館、台北當代藝術館、關渡美術館、台北數位藝術中心等重要場館展出;曾獲 2009台北數位藝術獎互動裝置類首獎,2013 台北數位藝術表演首獎。

從2015年開始,我改變了我關於影像方面關注的問題。我想要從一種科技與速度感的影像,逐漸轉為有機、自然方面的討論。如何從程式語言產生出一種像是人類產生的圖畫、或是自然的風景,變成我近期內關注的問題。「演算風景」這一系列的表演,我創造了許多的自然系統。其中聲響方面使用Max/ MSP,根據影像自動生成聲音;視覺使用Processing讓每次產生的影像可以像繪畫一樣,並且關注於我周遭所見的風景,使任何系統容納於我的風景與表演之中,討論一種人類與自然的關係。

Lien-Cheng Wang

Lien-Cheng Wang lives and works at Taipei, Taiwan.

He involves in real-time audiovisual performance, interactive installation and open source community. His works are committed to a seamless combination of images made by organic philosophy and sounds created by computer algorithm. In pursue of approaching omni connection to human perception, he always performs solo. He attended international festivals and venues e.g. Linz ArsEletronica, Berlin Transmediale, Taipei Digital Art Festival, Lyon Les Journées GRAME, Taipei National Palace Museum, Madrid MADATAC, Ghent UPDATE biennale New Technology Art Award.

 

Performance: Computed Scenery

Material: Single-channel projection, Stereo electric sound, Real-time compute audio-visual performance, Dimension Variable, 2016

How can computer language generate an image as closer as possible to a graphic generated by human beings or a landscape from nature? In my earlier audiovisual performance, my observation discussed techy and speedy visual issues, and now I am transforming the direction of visual issue to an organic and natural system.

The series of “Computed Scenery” real-time performances are included many nature systems created by myself in computed environment. In this environment, it unites every natural/computed system together and operates in a flow. The live performance approaches a discussion of a relationship between nature and human beings.

Sounds are automatic generated according to visual by using Max/MSP; visual images are simulated from paintings and the scenery I watched, made by Processing.

 

楊邵安 Xanthe, Shao-An Yang

作品形式包含錄像、行為、視覺藝術與聲音現場演出,專注於將實驗聲響作為表演的主軸。雖橫跨不同新媒領域但卻主要藉由作品探討人類心理學與聲音的關係。

曾在失聲祭參與演出,以及新人新視野—許程崴《小小小國度》擔任配樂,作品《解體概要》與合作人林仕杰獲得金穗獎最佳實驗片、最佳音樂設計,並入選德國漢堡短片節、首爾實驗電影節等影展。


葉澈 Che-Yeh

影像創作者,影像領域包括電影、MV、錄像藝術。多從影像的產製方式著手,以不同的媒材本質,尋找個人情感或者人類共同經驗,創造出企及集體意識的作品。

目前專注於數位影像的各種層面,貍貓MV《一切如你所願》是近期代表作。

水,在實質生命體上是生物最主要的組成成分。至於在人的內在上,「情感」必也是組成人類所必須之物,「情感」不只是愛,恨也在情感範疇當中,我們總想看穿自身與他人之間的情感流動,徹底見著愛或恨或空無,但時常流於枉然,故此時便開始遙想著情感的清晰徹底,如最清澈的水流般,在我與他者之間達成無限流轉的水循環。 在表演形式上,我們將對水與情感間的關係,轉化在聲音與影像上,希望藉此連結觀眾與表演者,置身在這表演者所製造的循環幻想中。

 

Xanthe, Shao-An Yang

Shao-An Yang’s works include photography, video art, performance art, visual art, and sound art live performance. Although it’s interdisciplinary with other new media but her works are mainly discuss about the relation between human psychology and sound.

Used to perform on Lacking Sound Fest and as the soundtrack of Hsu-Chen-Wei’s《Tiny Kingdom》who is the freshman of NCAF’s Young Star New Vision 2015. The work 《A Short History of Decay》 corporate with Lin-Shih-Chieh is awarded with 37th Golden Harvest Awards for Outstanding Short Films best experimental films, best music design, also selected in Internationale Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg and Seoul Experimental Film Festival.

 

Che-Yeh

As a filmmaker, Che-Yeh focuses on producing movies, music videos and video art. Throughout the different material of different medium, Che seeks the personal emotion or common experience of mankind in the process of making art pieces, which intends to create the collective consciousness within his works.

Che is spreading his proficiency toward different fields now. Recently representative work is the music video of "As You Want" by Aristophanes.

 

Performance: Limpidity

Essentially, water is an element of life form. As for human beings, “Emotion” is also an element of one. Emotion includes more than “Love,” there’s also “Hate” in the inclusion. People always want to see through the matters within oneself and others, clearly see “Love”, “ Hate,” or even “Emptiness.” However, the action always causes for nothing. Therefore, people start to look forward seeing the clarity of relationship, which is just like the clarity of water. It circulates between oneself and others in the state of infinity. To the form of performance, we transfer the relation between water and emotion into audio and visual approach. Looking forward making connection between audience and performers, we would like audience to put themselves into the circulating fantasy performers express.

劉芳一 

1986生於高雄。自2009年開始從事自由即興演出及田野錄音、聲音拼貼等創作。主要關注人聲與聲音環境。也擔任高雄聲音聆聽推廣單位“耳蝸”營運者,不定時舉辦讓各路聲音藝術家樂手交流的演出及推廣多元聆聽的活動。

Fangyi Liu  

Fangyi Liu is a sound artist based in Kaohsiung, his work focuses on noise collage and field recording and he usually uses objects and voice as source material in his improvised performance. He also created a Facebook group called Cochlea and try to introduce the musician from different fields to the new audiences. He hold several performances to promote new audio experience.

樊智銘 

從事聲音與影像創作及影像裝置,作品曾參展科隆PLATINE 藝術節、里斯本Temps D'Images 藝術電影節、當。滲透影像媒體藝術節2015、東京前衛影像藝術祭等。曾獲得2010 年台北數位藝術節-數位音樂與聲音藝術類首獎、2013《想像的風景II─不朽的追求》國際新媒體藝術展第二名。

2016年新作品中,企圖取樣城市聲音片段與極簡聲響混合方式呈現,此件作品在無影像視覺的聲響中,展現出低調沉穩風格。


Chih-Ming Fan

He has been working in audio and visual project and video installation and exhibited in PLATINE, Temps D'Images, (CON)TEMPORARY OSMOSIS - Audiovisual Media festival 2015, Hors Pistes Tokyo film festival and won the first prize of Sound Art in 5th Digital Art Festival Taipei and second prize of Immortal Quest International New Media Art Competition.

Performance: Assorted

In 2016, he tries his new sound project via sound clip from our life of cities and mix it into minimalist noise. Under the sounds without vision is putting the work to a calm and unflustered boundary.

 

鄭先喻 

畢業於荷蘭Frank Mohr Institute互動新媒體與環境藝術碩士的鄭先喻,創作出許多有趣、特別的作品,物件收集經過他再次轉譯的詮釋,不再僅僅停留在物件的看見形制,而是表達出生活與環境之間反抗與平衡的關係。在作品裡能感受他嚴肅與幽默並存的創作語彙。曾獲2014台北數位藝術獎首獎。

鄧雯馨 

鄧雯馨出生於台灣台中市,畢業於國立台灣藝術大學新媒體藝術所,為錄像藝術家、VJ、電子搖滾樂隊心電樂(Heartones)電貝斯手及逆風少女(ATWGirl)主唱。演出經驗遍佈各音樂節、藝術節及活動現場。所擅長的創作媒材,為數位聲響、電子合成音樂、錄像及錄像裝置。作品曾於台灣、法國、中國、西班牙、土耳其等藝術節、博覽會中展出。

尋求找夢境裡的自我,在現實與大腦深層記憶裡的重置與在呈現裡,探討中國民間解夢書《周公解夢》中的詮釋,透過聲音、影像、音樂及藝術家的身體,在臨場藝術中藉由夢中之情境,營造奇幻之幻象,探討夢中的聲音、靈魂及數位抽象自我的呈現。

 

Teng Wen-hsin

Wen-hsinTeng is a new media artist, who also works as an independent music video producer, VJ, the bass player of electronic rock band Heartones, and the lead vocalist of ATW Girl. Teng’s work is vibrant and colorful, with an affinity towards montage, broad-strokes and the psychedelic. She has performed in Live Houses and events across Taiwan. Teng is now engaged in digital media and art, with a specialty in video and video installation, applying music and visual experience to illuminate technology and life.

Ms. Hsin-hsin loves to dream – her dreams are full of fantastic people, events, and objects. In her fantasy dreamworld the boundaries between reality and flights of imagination are blurred. But ‘Hsin-hsin ’ phantasmagoric imagery and her romantic songs never fail to pleasantly surprise. 

 

Sung Nam Han

出生日本神戶,影音藝術家兼策展人,她以研究語言、顏色、聲音和圖像等符號學方法創作影像與藝術作品且經常運用出乎意料的視覺效果。在實踐錄像、裝置到表演藝術中的擴展,探索一種關於人類/ 性 / 宗教的社會規範。她活躍的領域範圍從錄像、裝置到表演藝術。許多的作品在日本與國際各大藝術節發表,例如:EXIS首爾實驗電影與錄像藝術節、瑞士洛桑地下電影與音樂節、德國代特莫爾德影展、榮獲首爾新媒體節-媒體藝術家獎等。她也曾舉辦名為”遠東音像社會化”藝術展為亞洲第一個以音像Audio Visual命題的藝術節。

"酒吧戲劇"是Sung Nam HAN新的藝術表演方式,且是真正的在吧台和咖啡廳空間演出。它結合了各種元素,例如錄像、舞蹈和戲劇,以一種新的方式去呈現出強而有力的藝術表演

此作品獲得的好評源自於它反映出現代社會的情境,這些表演顯露出視覺情感和背後深處密集的訊息並發生在一個真正的時間和地點。不同媒體結合成為多功能的層次,在真實的空間中嵌入影像螢幕投射出男人和女人隱藏或偽裝的情感和生活。

Sung Nam Han

Audio Visual Artist and Director of the Interdisciplinary Art Festival Tokyo, Sung Nam Han makes work with a semiological approach to language, color, sound and image and often employing abrupt visual effects. Han’s practice expands from video works, to installations and art performances, exploring the social code of human/sex/religion.Her activity ranges from video works, installations to art performances. A lot of works has been shown in domestic & international such as Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul, Seoul New Media Festival [Media Artist prize], Lausanne Underground Film and Music Festival, International Film Festival Detmold.

She organizes 'audio visual festival' which held in the first time in Asia named Far East Audio Visual Socialization.

Performance: About playing the role of a human

"Bar Drama" is a Sung Nam HAN's new method of art performance which is held real bar counter and cafe space. It is combined various elements such as video, dance and drama to be dynamic art performance in a novel way.It has been highly reputed because of reflecting the modern society; those performances appear visual sensations and the depth of density information in a real time and place.Different media combined as multi-layered, inserted the video monitor in real space which projects invisible man and a woman's emotions and life.

 

Urich Lau、Marcel Gaspar、TeowYue Han

Urich Lau新加坡的視覺藝術家,從事錄影藝術、攝影、版畫製作。他已經在新加坡和其他國家包括馬來西亞、印尼、泰國、中國、日本、澳大利亞、塞爾維亞和美國展出。他也是獨立策展人和錄像藝術組織者也與新加坡和國際藝術家與藝術團體合作。他取得墨爾本皇家理工大學美術碩士學位,並在新加坡拉薩爾藝術學院擔任藝術講師。他也是自 2007 年的新加坡版畫協會和自2009 年的新加坡藝術村成員且為 2011 年新加坡古德曼藝術中心的駐村藝術家。即為2017 新加坡媒體藝術節策展人。

Marcel Gaspar 是 1986 年出生,2014年畢業於倫敦Goldsmiths大學學士。新加坡藝術村的成員。他感興於攝影、機械和電子領域並展現敏銳的觀察力在作品中。時間在視覺上與物理上是被壓縮的體現在他的過程和操作中。

TeowYue Han是一位跨領域藝術家對於手勢和互動非常感興趣。他不局限於任何媒介,他探討美學剩餘本身和肉體與技術之間的交集。2004 年他獲得了Art Elective Programme(AEP)和CIMB 獎學金。2012 年畢業於新加坡南洋理工大學媒體與藝術設計與數位電影製作,目前就讀英國斯萊德藝術學院。他已在2010的Fetterfield、 R.I.T.E.S.、Night Festival NOW! 演出和在中國與倫敦展出。他也是 FOCA 核心成員為ㄧ個策展團隊感興趣於替代空間、批評性論述和跨界合作。

 

演出: 現場回路 X 軌道電影 X 第3 視點

“現場回路 X 軌道電影 X 第3 視點” 命名是由Urich Lau、TeowYue Han and Marcel Gaspar 3位新加坡藝術家分別在進行各自系列影像的作品之後組合而來的標題。作品欲組成一種協調的結構基於捕捉現場的視覺和聲音並創造藝術家、現場空間和觀眾之間的連結構成表演內容。影像與聲音中的雜訊在混沌之間,然後慢慢的依序被協奏而成。作品應用修改可穿戴的影音裝置、VJ 效果器、現場迷你監視鏡頭、線上聊天室和影像連線空拍機。

 

Urich Lau is a visual artist, independent curator and art educator based in Singapore (born 1975). Working in video art, photography and printmaking, he has presented works in Singapore and various countries including Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Serbia, Taiwan, Thailand, USA and Uzbekistan.  Recent exhibitions include the Singapore Biennale 2013, VII Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art, and a finalist in the Sovereign Asian Art Prize 2013-14. He has curated and organised projects focusing on video art in Singapore, Indonesia, China and Germany. He holds a Master of Fine Art degree from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is a lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts, a member of The Artists Village and served as its President from 2012 to 2014, and a resident-artist at theGoodman Arts Centre in Singapore.

Marcel Gaspar is born in 1986 and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Goldsmiths, University of Londonin 2014 and a member of The Artists Village in Singapore. His interests in the photography, mechanical andelectronic fields shows a keen sense of observation in his work. Time is compressed visually and mechanically asit manifests in his processes and manipulations.

TeowYue Hanis an interdisciplinary artist with a keen interestin gestures and interaction. Not confined to any medium, heseeks to explore the aesthetical residue of identity andthe intersection between physicality and technology. He receivedthe prestigious Art Elective Programme (AEP) Scholarship in2004 and the CIMB Regional Scholarship in 2014. Yue Hangraduated from NTU School of Art Design and Media (ADM)in 2012 with a BFA in Digital Filmmaking and is pursuing his MA at Slade School of FineArt. He has performed locally at Fetterfield, R.I.T.E.S., Night Festival 2010, NOW! Andexhibited internationally at China and London. He is also a core member of FOCA (Free ofCharge Artshow) - a curatorial team interested in engaging alternative spaces, criticaldiscourse and cross -collaboration.

 

Collaborator: Lim Shengen (based in South Korea)

 

Shengen Lim, Born 1981, his practice is geared in a multidisciplinary manner that seeks new presentations of traditional methods. He is currently pursuing his Masters and PhD in Culture Technology in Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He is a member of The Artist Village (Singapore), Daejeon Arts Collective (Daejeon, South Korea), Axis of culture (Transpacific arts collective).His work has been exhibited in Artscience Museum Singapore, Singapore Art Museum, Singapore Fringe Festival, Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, Alliance Francaise - Singapore, Kanto Gallery – Philippines, Sunshine Museum of Contemporary Art - China, ‘2e Biennale internationale de I’image de Luang Prabang – Laos and Salford University - United Kingdoms. Being based in Seoul, his exhibitions includes The Stranger, Loop Gallery – Seoul, Flow International Performance Festival, Golmok Gallery – Seoul, On Video, Hongik University – Seoul, Ulsan Art Center, Guemgang Nature Art Biennale, Changwon Scuplture Biennale.

Performance: Life Circuit X Orbital Cinema X 3rd View

Life Circuit X Orbital Cinema X 3rd View is a collaborative video performance with Singaporean artists Urich Lau, TeowYue Han and Marcel Gaspar with the combined title taken after each artist's on-going series of video work respectively. The work aims to form a coherent structure based on visuals and sounds captured on site and creates a link between the artists, the site, and the audience to make up as content in the performance. The cacophony of moving images and sounds is then slowly symphonically sequence in amidst the chaos. The work applies modified wearable A/V gadgets, VJ mixers, spy-cam live footage, online chat-room, and a video-streaming flying drone.

 

Jangwook Lee     

導演、獨立策展人,美國芝加哥藝術學院電影製作,擔任首爾EXIS 實驗影展總監、Hand-made film lab space cell總監、 韓國水源大學戲劇與電影學院教授、亞洲電影與錄像藝術論壇創辦者。

 

 

演出: 看(不)見的風景 16釐米電影、多媒體投影,有聲, 2016

本次即將帶來新作品演出,現場的電影表演將以影像與聲音為基本元素來做介紹。所有機械設備與材料也將會被曝露在觀眾眼前,經由觀眾竊竊私語的反應下,觀眾也將成為這場活動中強烈的一部分。

Jangwook Lee is a Director of Hand-made film lab SPACE CELL and also a filmmaker. He is interested in personal film, film performance , and experimental documentary. He is also a committee member of Exis, and his work have been screened in various film festivals and performed at the many theatres.

Performance: (Un)seen landscape (2016/16mm film, multi-projection/40min/sound)

This live film performance will introduce the basic elements of images and sounds.

And also apparatus and materials will be exposed to audiences. Audiences will be a strong part of the events in theway of whispering.

 

Eric Scott Nelson    

Eric Scott Nelson出生於1980,美國的裝置和行為表演藝術家,2007年定居於首爾。在過去的三年中,他創造了大約 50 場的表演。他的作品,從觀念到行為,發展在很短的時間內在第一次身處將演出地點時即浮現。他的過程可分這些順序︰空間-身體-概念-材料- 行為- 時間或一些變化。他最近的工作大部分是根據一種新關係他所謂的行為哲學,在那裡行為作為一種工具傳達社會哲學,應付在社會和荒誕的人生問題。他的作品充滿挑戰性經常伴隨外在風險。沒有任何彩排,行為是被領會和掌握在反覆過程間。他的演出遍及各國例如:中國OPEN festival and GUANGZHOU LIVE , 泰國 ASIATOPIA , 新加坡 RITES, 波蘭 EPAF, 菲律賓 TAMA , 馬來西亞 BUKA JALAN, 日本 IN MOTION 和許多的藝術節在韓國,他同時也創立了許多藝術節如:Golmok Performance Art Festival, SPEAK, FLOW Performance Art and Media Festival, and Performance Art In Subway Cars (P.A.I.S.C.)。

 

現場表演以限地製作方式進行

將維持ㄧ慣的作風概念,須在第一次接觸演出空間後才能決定演出方式。作品充滿挑戰性經常伴隨外在風險。沒有任何彩排,行為是被領會和掌握在反覆過程的時候。 "身體不能沒有行動...所以我們必須選擇和發展我們作出的行為… 同時進一步理解行為的語言”。

 

Exploring a variety of media but with a strong focus on action and process, Eric Scott Nelson pushes and pulls at the structure of being. He has produced hundreds of action artworks most of which are time and site-specific. The process flows through Time-Space-Body-Object-Mind-Action until there is no longer a distinction between the terms. They are Action Dialogues, where creative action is used as a tool for communicating through physicality, addressing the human condition confined by culture within the absurdity of contemporary society. The work is challenging, often with some physical risk. Recent actions have become more objective-oriented, where the rules are figured out during the process. When an aim becomes clear, through repetition either the goal is obtained or abandoned. With the creation of systems, rituals, accumulations, and the building of new habits as an art form, he is working to understand and develop the performance of daily life.

Shun Owada

Shun Owada,1985年次,目前定居於東京的聲音藝術家。2012年由東京藝術大學獲得碩士學位,並長期專注于物理與生理相關的聲學研究,擅挖掘聲音與感知之間的關係,創作多元多由電腦即興創作至聲音裝置來展現創作理念。

 

演出:25分鐘音速電擊

25分鐘音速電擊透過純淨的合成電氣聲響,試圖探索人類感官、機械數據與環境氛圍之間的關係。

 

Shun Owada

Born in 1985, Shun Owada is a Tokyo-based sound artist.
He earned his master’s degree from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2012. Having an interest in physical/physiological aspects of sound, he explores relation between sound and perception of (living) things. His works varies from live improvisation using computers to sound installation.

With purely computer-synthesized electric sound, I focus on the relation between Human perception, machine-generated data and the air that surrounding us.
